Partitura - Toni Servillo's homage to Enzo Moscato
Comune di Riccione
On 11 and 12 December (21:15) at the Granturismo in Riccione, Toni Servillo pays tribute to Enzo Moscato with 'Partitura', a text written in 1987 for him.
An emblematic work in terms of richness and linguistic power, "Partitura" marks one of the peaks of Moscato's poetic theatre: a journey between music and word, body and memory, evoking the last moments of Giacomo Leopardi in the sorrowful and vital Naples of his time. (Entrance fee)
Servillo staged this text with Tonino Taiuti, Iaia Forte and Lalla Esposito, and from it were born fragments that flowed into the show "Rasoi" - symbol of Teatri Uniti - and into the film "Il giovane favoloso" by Mario Martone. It is precisely 'Rasoi', in the film version directed by Martone, that will be screened in Riccione on 12 December and presented by Servillo himself.
Servillo's artistic project is being presented in Riccione as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of Enzo Moscato's historic win at the Riccione Theatre Prize, which in 1985 awarded him the prize for "Pièce noire", the first text in the Neapolitan language to win in four decades of competition.
Enzo Moscato, who passed away in 2024 at the age of 75, left an indelible mark on the history of the contemporary scene. His link with Riccione - from the Prize to the TTV Festival - is renewed today in Servillo's theatrical gesture, which returns to the public the vitality, beauty and intensity of his poetic language.
